We are so grateful for our customers and want to highlight some of our great partners and their success stories with ShoreBags. Today, we'd like you to meet Pretty Personal Gifts, in her own words:

When did you start?

I launched Pretty Personal Gifts in 2001 after the birth of our second child.

What do you most hope for 2021?

From a business standpoint, my hope for 2021 is that shipping times will get back to normal with carriers.  The shipping delays that we saw during this last holiday season were brutal. It's a bit better now, but there are still delays with almost all the carriers.  If we could get back to reasonable shipping times from the carriers, I'd be thrilled. Aside from that I'm always hoping for the next great item to be launched so that we can monogram it!

What inspires you?

My daughters inspire me. Whatever phase of life they are going through tends to dictate what I am drawn to. They truly are the best at spotting new trends which helps me tremendously.

How can we help you?

If I had to pick one thing it would be giving consideration to embroidery needs during the design process on things like your tote bag pockets. To successfully embroider on a pocket without stitching it shut requires a certain amount of width and depth. We have to make sure the bag will fit properly on a commercial machine using a clamp or hoop so the more space the better. When designing or even re-designing items, if the pocket width and depth could be increased a little, it would be helpful. I have always thought that it would be great for companies who make blank items to consult with embroiderers during the design process to make sure the item will fit on a machine and work with their technology. [Note from ShoreBags: Well noted Janine!]
You are already so helpful!
We had a great year with ShoreBags and the response time around the holidays was exceptional. A few of your items sold out on our website and with Ali's help, we were able to restock quickly and keep selling. Keep making great items and we'll keep embroidering them!
