Our primary business being wholesale and other small businesses, we have seen a dramatic impact from Covid-19. We find our customers to be travel and summer shops who see their busiest season from March-August, so this time of the year has been especially slow for us and other businesses like us.
Since we own our manufacturing, we have also felt the impact from our supply end. Earlier social distancing guidelines meant very limited workers on site and reduction of capacity to under 50%. As soon as the US decided put stay-at-home orders into effect, India had already put the entire country on lockdown with even essential services limited to only hospitals. Shipping and grocery chains were impacted. This led to stopping all production and halting replenishment of inventory.
Servicing our customers and providing a great buying experience is still our number one goal. We ask our customers to be patient as we await new stock and take longer than usual to fulfill orders. We hope to restock all our popular styles as soon as it is determined it is safe for our employees and workers.
